Job description
- Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.
- Work on ways to automate and improve development, release processes.
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions.
- Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives in a timely manner.
- Strong partner in discussions with team and architects.
- Take ownership of the continuous integration environment, as provided to internal customers, consisting out of CI solution, agile planning solution, and source and artifact repository managers.
- Provide Life Cycle Management for maintained solutions.
- Assist other engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team.
- Test and examine code drafted by other’s engineers and analyze results.
- Identify and resolve issues with systems and software, and to put in place measures to ensure these issues do not reoccur with proactiveness.
- Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Build platform environments to support auto-scaling for the business in the future.
- Work closely with solution engineering professionals to identify, manage, and maintain hardware and software required for projects to be delivered efficiently ensuring long term scalability for business.
- Mentor and train other engineers and seek to continually improve processes.
- Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.
- Staying on top of industry best practices and trends, as well as changes to compliance requirements.

- Hands-on experience with artifact management tools such as JFrog Artifactory.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git and Subversion.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring systems such as Dynatrace and Zabbix.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash.
- Hands-on experience with testing and testing frameworks
- Hands-on experience in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
- Experience with SAFe is handy and good to have.
