Job description

  • Responsible to manage E2E Programs.
  • Take the overall accountability and responsibility of successfully delivering IT Operating Model or New Ways of Working Transformation Consulting engagements based on the established scope of work as per the signed contract
  • Build a trusted partner status with the client C-suite stakeholders based on excellent delivery of the Transformation Engagement
  • Achieve the following objectives in addition to any other stated outcomes by the client or your leadership team, in delivering your assigned engagement:
  • Manage global onshore/offshore teams and the work they are delivering.
  • Move from client organization from “projects to a products and platform” organization.
  • Move from traditional (waterfall) ways of working to Agile, DevSecOps and Cloud ways of working.
  • Establish distributed Agile practices, but with the recent COVID-19 pandemic, make delivery of work effective with even 100% remote working of teams.
  • Attract, hire, retain, inspire and manage the new age talent required for the successful delivery at your assigned client(s). Mentor and guide the team members where required.
  • Responsible for managing complex programs across multiple disciplines, including engineering, production, subcontractors.
  • Ensures compliance with methodologies, conformance to metrics and usage of tools for all transformation Projects.
  • Establish relationship across the CIO/Portfolio organization, business areas and suppliers to deliver successful engagement experience to customer.
  • Drive transformation program and take complete ownership E2E to achieve program objectives.
  • Drive the steering committee reviews to ensure program governance objectives.
  • Owns and drive KPI dashboards, responsible for preparing and presenting valuable information to client management.
  • Prepares KPI reports for pre-determined needs.
  • Works with Project Managers and lead to align with the Transformation Program.
  • Consolidates risks, issues, dependencies, etc. from projects.
  • Deliver all engagements under the accounts with excellent quality.
  • Support client partners in growth of current and future engagements.
  • Review and drive financial objectives such as Revenue, EM, Productivity, YOY growth and payment collection.
  • Manage team health and retain best talent in the accounts.
  • Help growth of account through account mining, delivery led sales, contribute and drive RFI/RFP responses.

Qualification & Skills

The ideal candidate should have the following experience and skills:

  • At least 10 years’ experience in delivering large and complex IT Operating Model, New Ways of Working and/or Projects to Products Transformation engagements as an Engagement Manager or Engagement Leader
  • Proven track record of advising clients and implementing new operating models and delivery methods such as Agile, DevSecOps, Cloud, etc.
  • Deeply conversant with today's technology and engineering disruptors such as RPA, Cognitive Computing, DevSecOps, Open Source, AI in Software Development, etc.
  • Experience in managing complex programs across multiple disciplines.
  • Expertise across Agile Development programs, DevOps platform, News Ways of Working,
  • Well versed with Scaled Agile methodology
  • Experience with managing Global Workforce of 100+ team members including few Project Managers and Scrum Masters
  • Strong focus on collaboration, team building, and customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to deal with all levels in an organization Competencies
  • Facilitate governance, project reviews, and other Delivery related meetings
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Ability to identify new opportunities out of the existing engagement
