About the client

In the capacity of a Scrum Master, the consultant is responsible for taking up lead roles in executing key engagements of rolling out Enterprise Agile and DevOps projects / programs / organizations and train, mentor, and coach teams.

Scrum Master to play servant-leader role to maximize the value created by the Scrum Team. Managing scrum events and artefacts is core responsibility. However, the role needs to go beyond just process and ritual, to delivering business outcomes. Qualification & Skills

  • Should have a minimum of 6-10 years of overall IT experience and at least 3-4 years of strong practical agile experience in a mature agile environment, preferably using Scrum. Experience with Scaling Frameworks such as SAFe® / LeSS® / DaD® / Nexus® preferred.
  • Experienced senior level professional with expert understanding of agile methodologies, values, principles, and practices.
  • Experience working as a Scrum Master for at-least 2-3 years (working with distributed scrum teams is an added advantage).
  • Experience working on agile management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Version One, RTC, CA Agile Central, etc.
  • Experience of personally driving & leading culture and mindset changes to implement agile techniques in a scaled agile environment.
  • Able to provide objective & practical guidance to teams, implement delivery disciplines, and build ownership for high-quality outcomes.
  • Great team leadership, inter-personal communication, and negotiation/influencing skills to guide, mentor and motivate scrum teams. 
  • Pro-active leadership, ownership for outcomes, willingness to step forward and take accountability.
  • Having awareness of real-world agile project challenges and ability to suggest and implement tailored solutions.
  • Contribute to overall program governance & management, including identification of right value-focused metrics & measures.
  • CSM, CSPO, CSP, SAFe Agilest or PSM I, II, III / SPS certifications are an added advantage.
  • Ability to travel/commute to client locations. Also, willingness to travel across country/international as needed.
