Some history
The Burnt Oak advisory group has its roots in the late nineties, when Robert Morgan established Morgan Chambers, Europe’s leading independent IT outsourcing advisory firm. Morgan Chambers and its successors supported more than 2,000 outsourcing projects across 60 countries.
Concepts developed during this period laid the foundation for the current practice. Since 2016 the service portfolio has been expanded to include M&A brokerage services en Executive Search services for the IT industry.

Close links between the practices in the different countries, enable us to deliver support across the Nordic countries, Benelux, and UK.
Our Philosophy
We believe the traditional IT market is going through a major change, resulting in a re-defined vendor landscape, new sourcing requirements and the need for people that can cope with these changes. Given our experience and extensive network, Burnt Oak can support the industry by:
- Helping IT companies redefine their position and where necessary merge with other companies to form new competitive entities
- Help companies redefine their sourcing strategy in response to new requirements and the changing vendor landscape
- Support companies in finding the right resources for dealing with the new market challenges
